Through my visit of Royal Palace with my sister. It was quite excited to visit the Royal Palace Museum which turned into reality after the Royal Massacre occurred. So after that incidents it turned out to be a Royal Palace Museum.
There i a rules that no cell phone or any electronic gadgets to click out the photo. The tickets was also categorize according to the person, works. It is a good news for the students that if they show there card then they will get Discount more than 50%.
While we sisters enter into the palace climbing the stairs looking at the statue which is quite interesting. I felt so much excited when i enter the front entrance. The door was so big like which we see in the castle. There were all over the mirrors looking myself and my sister how do i look into the mirror.
Portraits of the Late kings and queens all over the wall hanging. Restriction was there do not touch. There was also a Bureaucracy who explain us the things. Room was also divided according to district like Rolpa, Humla, Jumla.
The rooms were full of statue, mirror, furniture, carpet and other things. The rooms were divided according to king office, tea party, library,dinning hall, guests rooms, master bedroom and others. Almost all of the rooms were not open some of them were remain close especially toilets were also closed. The Jhoomer light was so beautiful and other lights were also looking marvelous.
Not only that but there were an animal skin also like of Tiger,Rhinoceros,Crocodile, wild buffalo
. Among them the most fascinated one was of the crocodile skin which was hanging on the wall. So huge and large crocodile. There was so many books like of Gandhi, mythology, arts, culture. Charles dickens and Agatha Christie.
The respected monarchs and president who visited in 1970's and 1980's such as Queen Elizabeth
II, President Francois Mitterrand of France , Juan Carlos I of Spain in Royal Palace and there is a photo hanging of these people and other great personality.
Eventhough the outbuilding where the murders occurred was destroyed very quickly there is a royal family of nepal were massacred in which there is a spot on these site.
There is also a throne of king in a display which is very much beautiful. There is a painting of God and Goddess which is very much fascinating and as well as extraordinary.
The extensive gardens of the palace are also open for viewing to the people. Some of the areas of the palace still remain restriction which including the living quarters where the ex-king’s stepmother and step-grandmother still live and those buildings currently is being used by the foreign office.
The number of people visiting in the Royal Palace should come in the time order and it is also closed for some restriction days and public holidays.
So we sisters observe the thing closely which took a lot of time and spent around one and half hour in palace which was quite adventurous. The Palace was so huge it feels like going to another world of late 16th and 17th centuries palace. We also took pictures outside Royal Palace. Through my and sisters experience we want to visit this palace again.
